Holiday Road...???
While Memorial day 2026 is still a few days away -
Tomorrow, Friday May 22nd is national "Road Trip" day!
Personally, I do a lot of long distance recreational driving in my Mini, so everyday is "national road trip day" for me.
I certainly don't need cause or a reason.
BUT - With fuel prices reaching an all time high (@$5.35/gal for 91 octane) where I am; has pretty much killed the thrill of actually having a national day that encourages driving for fun.
Bummer.
Maybe next year ... (with any hope).
