My wife and I love to travel. We even drive an hour+ to try a new hotdog or burger stand.
December 07 my wife and I booked a resort stay down in Florida for a week. To save money, we got a place with a full kitchen, so we shopped and packed enough food to cook for the week. So, after working 8hrs, we loaded my (03 R53) literally to the max and took the 23hr (estimated 20) trip south, periodic stops along the way for food and naps (we lived in the car for the trek) since I was the only one experienced with the manual trans. It was a great experience that we repeated similarly the following year for our honeymoon.

We're planning a 14hr trip this summer to SC with our twins who'll be a year. This time we've added roof storage.
