Of course MOTD 2007 was fantastic; and I couldn't resist the opportunity for a few more mods for my MINI so that I could -uhmm- "assess" the results on the Dragon. I signed up with the folks at Helix and was quite pleased with the results. After the fun, I headed home for Atlanta on Sunday morning. No more than a mile after exiting FontanaVillage onto Hwy28, my CHECK ENGINE light came on. Yikes! I remembered receiving a friendly wave from Eric in the Lodge lobby as I checked out a few minutes before; and I turned around to ask his advice.

Without even batting an eye, he had me drive over to the Helix tent and the crew there hooked up their laptop to my ailing MINI's onboardDiagnostics! They had my problem diagnosed and fixed in no time even though it was not caused by any of their work! To top it off, they refused payment and were cordial even though I'm sure I interrupted their departure preparations.

Holy smokes! A great big thank you to the Helix crew at MOTD 2007.
