Wheels?

I have a 2003 Mini Cooper (non-S) and I have the 15" rims on it but they just aren't good enough for the speed and handling and especially the looks. I am actually looking for a certain rim. I'm looking for a set of white S-Lite wheels. let me know where I can get some for a good or better price than the dealer or if anybody has some they want to sell....

seigmann,

Check in the Marketplace > Wheels and Tires for Sale forum https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...play.php?f=150. There is always good S-lite wheel/tire sets showing up there.

siegmann,

I understand that you could be going for a "look" that larger wheels give your Mini, but as far as speed and handling, 15" holies are a pretty good wheel. I have mounted some 205/55r-15's on mine and it handles like it's on rails. Please be careful about choosing S-lites, they are heavy, which could hurt your handling, all that unsprung weight. On the plus side, many are available, so be picky and you should be able to find some in great shape.

Anyhow, that's my input. Make your Mini your own. If you do decide to go with new wheels, do you wish to part with your 15's? Where are you located?

I'll trade you my S-lites for them. I'll even pay shipping. They have Avon tech m550s on them at the moment. Many miles left.

You want to go from holies to SLites??!?!?!?!?

I don't have the holies, they're the eight spoke 15's. I might want to make that trade! Where are you located? And are they the silver or white S-Lites?

OK colinmini,

I'm with you... I enjoy the ride on my holies, wish I had four of the white ones. Right now I got two, looking for two more. People tell me I should put two white ones on one side, then silver on the other, no one would notice...

Anyway, I love the look of white wheels! Here's mine on silver:
