i was notify by a local shop that i called concerning about a set of stoptech BBK and i may need spacers to fit over my wheels. can anyone let me know if spacers on a front wheel car, which they told me, will cause vibration? he said 80-90% of FWD cars will shake if you put front spacer.

i've seen alot of ppl use spacer, but havne't really heard anything about that, really want to make sure~

and does anyone know if buddy club P1 racing SF (http://www.wheelspecs.com/specs/wheelmodels/466) has a good brake clearnace? cause they are really similiar model to the kosei K1 i believe?

i run 5mm spacers w/ my TCE/Willwood 13" bbk with no issues. i need the spacers to clear my coilovers, not my brakes. 10K street miles and 4 track weekends w/ no problem. hope this helps....i'm sure that i'm not the only one w/ similar experience...

 

ok then, i guess the shop is just BS-ing me, trying to convince me to buy different offset wheels..haha, nice try but no thanks

 

I have run as big as 20mm spacers w/ s-lites, to clear brembos (yes I know what it does to the suspension geometry) and had no problems.

 

im runnin 8mm spacers w/ stoptechs and no problems here!!

 

anyone know how extreme of a offset will fit the cooper? +37 will still clear the arches hopefully if the ride height is sitting flush with the fenders? i was trying to find OZ superleggera to try to see how far it sticks out, but no luck.
