37mm off set with H-sport springs

Has anyone gone with a wheel with a 37mm off set with H-sport springs ? I've got some 16" Rota slipstreams that are on order with a 40mm off set but Rota makes a wheel that I really like but decided not to get because of there off set of 37mm. The tires I'm putting on are a 205/50/16. I would love to hear from anyone that has this set up and to find out if they just stick out to far and would rub. If they will work, I might go with the other wheels.

I'm running OZ Ultraleggeras (16x7, +36 offset) with 225/45R16 Hankook z212's... they fit with a bit of trimming of the plastic. My car's running our TSW/Leda Softcore suspension and it's 1.75" lower than stock all around.

I'd say that with 205's, you should have clearance with no worries... I'd wager you're going with 16x7's?

To answer NEWBS49 question, the wheels are a 16x7. I've looked at pictures or your car and it didn't seem to push too far out. If your running a +36 then I would guess that a 37mm would work. The problem is that I feel that I'm just guessing and with out mounting a tire to this wheel, I wont really know. You have a major drop and running 16x7,+36 and a 225/45r16,that's makes me feel a bit more comfy . I think you have pictures of your set up which I will look up. Thanks for your help!

I found the pictures of your car on another post, looks nice by the way. How much trimming did you have to do ? Do you have any problems with the fronts or just the rears. I had a set of 17's with 215/45/17 for a couple of weeks before going with 18's and had rubbing on the passenger side rear. I did a little dremeling but didn't go thru the lining. I need to make up my mind soon because the wheels are on there way and I will need to change the order. I might be getting a set of M7 springs which will lower the car a bit more then the H-sports adding to the problem.

I did more surgery in the front than in the rear... In the front, I trimmed the lip off the arch and trimmed a bit of the inner fender liner as well. In the rear, I just trimmed the arch. So far, so good!

That's what I want to stay away from. I don't want to start triming my car (scary) . I think going with the 40mm off set will keep me safe from trimming (much) and after reading a post from Randy Webb that a 40mm off set is as far as a person with H-sports should go (without surgery). I think that's where I need to be. I would love to see more pictures of your car or anyone else that is running 16's with a drop. Thanks !
