215/35-18 okay on 18x7 wheels?

I've been burning through my Dunlop runflats (came with my 18" JCW wheels) at an alarming rate... anyway, I don't plan to buy them again as $1200 on new tires each year is a little pricey. It looks like only the Nitto Neogens and Michelin Pilotsport PS2 tires come in the factory tire size (205/40-18)... I've heard that Nittos aren't that great (although they are cheap), and the Michelins are still $200/tire. I really like the look of the BFGoodrich KDW2s, and they are available in 215/35-18 -- will this work on my 18x7 wheels? Any other recommendations or alternatives?

215/35/18 will fit perfectly fine on 18x7's, but read up about the kdw2's on here before you buy a set

Re: KDW2s... I actually don't think I'll mind the road noise that much -- I'm around 90% city street driving, and I have a nice loud aftermarket stereo anyway. I'm more concerned as to whether I'll get some decent mileage out of them (20000 miles or so would be nice)... and based on what I've read so far, they seem to be great for handling in both the dry and wet.

Well, I like the flame pattern on the KDW2s... and I've heard that the Toyos are even louder...

I'm running $77 Hankooks 215/35/18 and they lasted for 40K brutal miles.
