Help Need New Tires now!1

Hope I'm not breaking any forum rules, posted this in the St. Louis club forum too...

Okay, I knew I was going to need tires soon, but my light went on today on the way to work and the front passenger tire is shot. I was hoping to have more time to research run-flat replacement options but thats what I get for procrastinating.... I've looked at the recommendations in the forum, but can't seem to find any of them locally.

Here is what I can get today. Any recommendations from you guys would be wonderful.

Autotire--BF Goodrich KDW for $672.00

Fisser--Hancook 104, $852--Never heard of this brand of tire and not sure I want to drive on the highway to go here.

NTB--Goodyear G4 Sport $532.78

Of course, I can always go to the dealer and replace the run flats for $1400. Not my first choice

Call Tire Rack and ask for Alex. They are a NAM vendor and they will have your order to you in only a couple of days. Highly recommended.

BTW, what type of tires are you looking for? Rim size? All season or performance? Runflat or non?

Kumho makes an excellent & inexpensive tire.

I have the BF Goodrich tires, and they are pretty good. Nice agressive tread pattern, great all weather handling, and they wear nicely. I will say they make a bit of noise though. However, when you see the looks on people's faces when you corner, it's worth it

I just bought a set of General UPH 215/45-17s from Tire Rack. I knew they were quick but I actually had them on my door step the next day. You can get the cost of the tires from their web site but with installation, I'm looking at less than $450 I'll second the call Alex.

I went with Continnental extreme contacts for my 17 inch wheels. I have read thet are pretty good in the snow so we will see this winter. Tread patterns looks to be the most aggressive of the all seasons I looked at.

Over the stock runflats they are a HUGE improvement. I am not an all out aggressive driver and so far I would buy these again. Will know for sure in 30k (hopefully 45k) miles...

new tires

If you want all season high-perf., highly recommend you contact EdgeRacing and check out either the Pirelli PZero Nero, on sale at about $125 each I believe, or the Toyo Proxes 4 @ about $100 per. Both excellent tires. If you go Tire Rack, check out the Avon tires or the PZero Neros.
