235 / 40 ZR17 fit?

I have a set of Borbet Rims and Sumitomo HTRZ 235 /40 ZR17 that I purchased for my PT Cruiser (Less then 5k miles on them) and was wondering if the tires or rims could be used on a MCS?

I start shopping for a used MCS tomorrow and was wondering if I could reuse the rims and or tires.

Thanks in advance...

You can just barely get 235/40R17's under a stock ride height MINI... you need to find a 17x7.5 or 17x8 with the right offset, though. And, be prepared to do some trimming on the plastic!
