Ive been quoted £1250 ($1900 ish) for some kahn RSS 18's to go on my cooper S coming in 8 weeks. My budget is tight (if i buy these!), but my question is would i need to get the car lowered as well to stop it looking like a truck? and by how much would u recommend without it rubbbing? (or is it gonna rub anyway?) I currently have the sports plus suspension, would i have to get some new springs and how much would this cost me to have them fitted?

Thanks very much in advance

(P.s, Laymen terms please, i dont know much about cars other than i like them!)
