Fender Mods for New Wheels?

Anybody had to modify their fender to accept new wheels? I've heard that sometimes you need to dremel down the fenders to get them to accept the new wheels. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Yes, to run some +38mm offset wheels without rubbing you have to grind down a small section about the 2:00 position on the drivers side rear wheel well.

I'm running et30 wheels with 225/50/R15 tires, and to make them fit I had to essentially cut most of the outer-most-portion of the fender-well-liner away in the rear (the front is fine).

It was pretty easy to do (though a bit scary), I also had to mush in a couple of protrusions near the rear-most portion of the fender wells (its a bit that sticks out around a screw mounting hole. I did this by removing the fender liner, and heating up the plastic with a blow torch, and then pressing down on it firmly with some heavy-leather-gloves on. This worked great, as the plastic gets soft very quickly with a torch...

All in all it was pretty easy, and now my car looks AND drives awesome!
