Cheap torque wrench???

I'll second the Harbor Freight piece. We have verified the accuracy with a "dial" type wrench. Don't waste your $$ on more expensive ones.

Maybe you just got lucky and got one that was accurate.

I've had two, the first was accurate but finally broke after years of abuse at the track. If it's not accurate, send it back. Or just buy another one for the $10.
