225-35-18 on 18x7.5 40mm wheel fit?

Hi:

I am replacing one of my bent 18x7 42mm Centerline Perl Black RPM wheel with 2 18x7.5 42mm wheel since Centerline was not willing to sell me just one wheel. As a matter of fact, they were only willing to sell me a full set. However, they had 2 Black 18x7.5 left in the ventory and were willing to sell them to me for $100 each. Anyway, I asked for 42mm and they sent me 40mm. Anybody know if they are going to rub in the back with stock sports suspension? I don't want to go through all the hazzle of sending them back as I have an appointment with Big-O tires tomorrow. I already paid for the Federal 595 tires, hence, I can't swap the them to 215-35-18. In addition, Centerline might not even have any 42mm in stock. Please help so that I can install those fat tires in the back with a peace of mind.

Thanks,
Cyrus
