I'm investigating having the center portion of my webspokes power coated. In order to do so they have to be dismantled and the center portion sandblasted before the actual powder coating process. I've seen a few pictures of painted webspokes, so it's doable. Does anyone have any experience in disassembling (and more importantly reassembling) these wheels? Is it simply a matter of removing the bolts or is there something else involved? Silly question, but can the center portion be removed without unmounting the tire?
