I'm speccing out my MINI for order sometime this summer and was looking for some general info on the painted wheels available, specifically white 17" s-lites. My biggest concern is that the paint will chip easily. Has anyone found this to be the case? And do they look good in person? I haven't seen any at my local dealer.

They don't chip but the brake dust can very easily get caked on, if you don't keep up with cleaning them.
They look great as long as you have the time, energy and burshes to clean them.
