R95 JCW Star Spoke Wheel worth it? rubbing issues? ride?

hi, Thinking about getting the R95 JCW Star Spoke Wheel Set?
Any rubbing issues? and ride quality?

I am looking to replace my run flats with some other tires.. but i heard the JCW are run flats too?any of you have experience with that?

]thanks. Also, major difference between run flats and performance tires? obviously, i want the mini to handle like it should.. if run flats will get in the way.. then run flats got to go

Minimal and only around the tightest turns at full suspension compression. Nothing worth being concerned over.

and ride quality?
Minimal different between the R95 and any other 17" wheel.

Getting rid of the runflats would make the ride actually get better than 17" wheel with runflats. And at 22lbs the R95s aren't the lightest wheels out there, but they are lighter than most 17" wheels offered by MINI.

In the end if you love the look and the feel of increased ultimate grip, go for it. If you're more concerned about a better ride and are trying to be cost conscious, don't.

Good comments as usual, Gabe.

hexproject, You'll be stunned that you can run a plus sized wheel and tire combo, with non-run flats and get a better ride than OEM 17" combinations with run-flats.

But it's true.

Do what makes you happy, within engineering reason.

Go for it. No problems with ride quality even in pothole laden upstate NY( I personally think the ride quality is better with larger R95 even with run flats). My ride has JCW suspension so no rubbing even with full car.

Beauty shot !!!
