Help on type of bolt

I just got some ADR Flite 4 wheels. Do I need to use different bolts then the ones on my X lites?

stud conversion may be an answer. Promini has them.
Don't forget you may need "hub-centric rings"

Thanks. Already had the hub centric rings from ebay. Just went to Discount Tire and they gave me chrome lugs for $2 each. The only difference I see is the diameter of the cone is smaller on the tuner lugs.

Most wheels with tapered lugs have the same taper, I don't remember the number but think it's 60 deg. Wheel maker should be able to tell you. Many after market wheels are thicker in the hub area than the OE wheels. The wheel bolts actually sit down in the stock wheel more than most. The minimun, safe, thread engagement for our bolts is 7 full turns (from TR and other sounces) and the stock wheels and bolts barely meet that minimum.

I would suggest you test fit the bolts in your new wheels, counting full turns from when the threads first engage, if not at least 7, get longer bolts. I don't think any of ProMini's studs are short enough to use with closed end lug nuts or center caps. I have 1.75", TOTAL LENGTH, studs and they added three extra threads to my total. Best length, for studs, is 2" or 50mm, TOTAL LENGTH. That gives lots of engagement and center caps will still fit over them, or they could be used with spacers, in most cases, up tp 5mm.

ProMini says they have 50mm studs but they are 50mm of threaded end on the nut side, NOT TOTAL LENGTH. Their total lenght is at least 60mm and I think it's actually more like 70mm.

There are several sources of correct length studs that advertize on this sight.
