Are these going to rub?

I intend on buying new rims and tires in the spring, rather than replace 2 more stock RF tires and one S-lite rim (750 bucks all said and done). I want 18", and I think I found what I want.

I've been looking for 18" white six-spoke rims. I like the really thin spokes, not the huge blade spokes, so here's what I found:

with Falken FK-451 215/35ZR18 tires. Another possibility, according to their chart, is 225/35ZR18. Would those look fat? I really don't want funky looking tires.

Why don't people use 18's on the track? I'll probably re-tire the 17's with Yoko AV-100s, but I just wonder why not use the 18s?

I can't rember if mine are 215 or 225's. But I have the same size setup. I have NO rubbing on stock height. But when I slam it down to the earth...I'm sure I will and they don't stick out.
