brake pads

looking to get the hawk performance street pads. Are there any issues with the rear pad sensor..... Am I going to need to tie it off like the mintex.

Just put some Hawk HPS's on all four corners a week and a half ago.
The fronts accepted the sensors, but not the backs, and I tied off the
back sensor. I bought them several months ago, and don't know if they've
updated them yet. It's pretty easy to check the pads through the
wheel holes, though. That's all you need to do. If you wear the rears down
to the metal, you'll have to replace the rotor as well, but, as often as not,
you have to replace the rotors with the pads anyway.
