SS Line Recommedations

I will be installing the Tyrolsport bushings but also want to do the SS brake lines at the same time. Can anyone who has done both recommend which SS brake lines are best to use with this set up and any specifications would be appreciated

These are the ones im looking at. The price is great, and i have heard from a friend who tracks her mini that they work very well

Just throwing them into the mix:

Almost everyother MINI store carries some form of SS line....so there are lots of choices.

I have done both. As far as SS brake lines go, it seems that as long as you get them from a reputable manufacturer, they are all pretty much the same. The Ireland ones are a little cheaper (price wise) and appear to be just as good as the Goodridge ones (at around $120) as far as I can tell. You can spend more than $120 for a set if you buy Russells, say, but it's not exactly clear to me what you get for that. Consider purchasing some extra ATE brake fluid with any savings realized.

I got the Stoptech ss brake lines and pleased with them. Like others have said, if you get from a well known source, their all pretty much the same. BTW: I made sure mine came with clear tubing over the ss meshed protion. That way you can visually see they are ss lines. I believe that coated (some kind of tubing) is required for legal street applications but, some manufactures will use yellow or red tubing and I think that looks ricy.
