Ok I'll be the one to ask the two giant purple elephants roaming this thread...

A. Are all of those cars current cars?

2. Can I have or at least borrow two of them?
In case you're considering: I'd like the e30 and the 2002ti.

D. I like the way your rims/brakes look.

The only thing I don't get is, when someone asks "Do you like it?" You respond with whatever. Then you have people saying "oh if you don't follow a certain style or size, then you wont be liked. If someone has an opinion, let them have it without holding a grudge. Thats one thing that iritates the hell out of me about forums.

Chill out with the "oh you better follow the lemmings" crap. I'm spent

Not being personal or pointing fingers towards anyone, I think that it is all in the tone. There is the "a little big but if that is what you are going for then great" attitude, and there is the "big wheels are heavy and not traditional (like we don't realize that) and only belong on rice rockets and SUV's" attitude. One of these comes accross as honest yet accepting. And the other, well, sounds like holier-than-though bitchiness. Just seems like every post has traditionalists saying, "no, thats not right, conform, conform!" And that is the crap that I am tired of and why I had to leave the Mini2 forums. "Responding with whatever" doesn't have to be so negative. Just my opinion, of course people will continue to say whatever they want.

If this discussion needs to be furthered, lets be polite and start a new thread so we do not waste other peoples time.

Did I mention I like the wheels?

"A little big" can be concieved many different ways. By saying a little big just by looking at a picture that usually means it looks unproportional to the car itself. I can't say the wheels are heavy, hell they could be the lightest 19" in wheels in the world. So that wouldn't be an accurate assumption. No one needs to conform to any certain way, the fact that we all have diverse and differing opinions on how our cars should look makes modding cars what it is. This place would suck if everyone had 19's and everyone had the Aero kit, and in the same breath it would suck if everyone had wide 15's.

So as long as we have an understanding and respect others decisions and opinions. I think this place can continue being a great forum.

Hamann...those things look great. I didnt think you would be able to beat the look you had with the hamanns....but you certainly did. I really like them. And of course, the BBK is a great accent. I would love to see more pics Did you have to custom order them(as is common with those wheels)? If so, where did you put the order in, and how was the service? Great job on the car....keep up the great work.

Oh, great taste in art too. Herring had some wonderful paintings.

Like people who make fun of you for running 15's by saying they should be on a tractor (sorry, had to say it since you seem to be taking a holier-than-thou stance against people who are negative despite your past negative jokes )

Right on Vento9, I guess we can agree on something.

...and RallyMINI, we almost agreed, until you turned hater again. It was easy enough for myself to go back and edit the ONE negative comment I could find that I had posted (with apology). Wonder how hard it would be for others to find and retract theirs. Might take days.
