Ferodo DS 2500 - Brake dust
Ferodo DS 2500 - Brake dust
Is excessive dust normal
? Especially on the rears. I have about 3000 miles on these things now and on my recent trip to Laguna Seca and back my rear wheels where caked in red dust. Although there is some on the fronts, it's not bad. Even after abusing the brakes for 37 laps I thought I would have worn them down enough that they would not be wearing in any more.
Here's the troubling part. During my 37 laps at Laguna Seca I had my track wheels and tires on and hardly any evidence of dust at all
. What's that all about?
Any other experience out there and what was the result? Should I be looking for a problem somewhere?

Bump....
C'mon gang, someone must have some idea what I need to be looking at. Don't think the rear caliper's are sticking although that's the only thing that makes any sense.
If they were sticking the rotors would be hot if not warm, right?
