any good advice here? im rubbing like CRAZY!!! a 30 minute drive has already cut a hole right into the inside liner.... other than changing camber or putting stock springs back on... i really got no clue what else i can do

rubbing on the inside rear fender liner (car side, not the fender panel side)?

then how about a 3mm offset spacer?

Try backing off on some camber in the rear. Put it to 1* or 1.5* neg.

Why did you go with a 50 series btw?

to get the car slightly higher to clear the snow... the eibachs drops my car too far... at first when i thought of it on paper it seems to work, at least switching from 215/45-17 that i used to run on the same wheels (42mm offset), and no rubbing... naturally, downsize one and upsize one shouldnt have THAT much of a effect on the tire's shape on the wheel, as the tire size calculator shows i merely increased sidewall 0.2 inches ... wow i was wrong

im at about 2 degrees negative already... im just a bit worried that anymore cambre will really chew the tires...

hey ken: (why am i pushing my tires furhter out? just so it can rub on the outer fender liner? right now its rubbing on the inside liner... ive not yet heard metal on rubber, cept on one ocassion...

also, most rubbing occurs when the rear is loaded... i just need to really avoid loading the rear.... after alot of trimming thanks to the tires (it poked right through in certain areas).... the rubbing seems to be less wiht just me on board...

ill try dremeling out part of the inner fender... hopefully it wont rub on metal....

any issues if i do rub on metal? will the galvanized steel be rubbed off and i get a lot of rust after winter?

the best is 205/45/17s, i have 1" drop front and rear and with stock tire size, I do not have any rubbing issues. The problem on your deal is the tire size, it is wrong. You may get around it with spacer, I seriously doubt it though. heh heh heeee, the same deal, when you mod your car, there is always a compromise, good luck

No, so you get clearance from the inner liner. if it's rubbing both sides,
you're out of luck other than to raise the height or get different tires.
