Yes the 195/55/16 is a somewhat odd ball size. Most folks who want 16's go with a 205/50/16 when it's replacement time. There is a much larger choice of available tires in that size.

these wheels are nice! does anyone know if deep dish panasport style wheels are available for the new Mini? something like these, but in 17's, of course...

Wheels with that much dish are very hard on wheel bearings. Also your car won't drive or steer the way it does now. Too much dish IMO.

The ASA's look great!! I've always liked that look on the MCS! I have a beef with tire-rack and what they consider "lightweight" though. 18lbs on a 16x7 is only lightweight if youre comparing it to a full chrome wheel

You can drive the car and have dish, it's possible.

Were they a direct fit? or was there a spacer? Are you still running on Run-flats? If so, was there any precaution needed to fit them to the JH6's?

100% direct fit with factory runflats and lug nuts.

Remove stock 16" runflats from stock rims, install on JH6. Bolt to MINI.

Only thing that is a "little" different is that you need to use the MINI center cap from the 17" S-Lite rims.

about 9 months on the rims, still great. My wife loves them, often will just announce that: "I love my rims. If at some point i get a different MINI, I am keeping my rims"

Also, the way the spokes are shaped seems to help keep brake dust off of the front surface of the rims - they stay rather clean for BMW/MINI brake pads. My X-Lites are always filthy, her JH6's stay clean.

I love mine, I have the 17" ASA JH6 with Yoko ES100s and love the look and the ride. I've had them on for 4000+ miles. And they do seem to stay cleaner than the webspokes.
