TeamDynamics PR1 vs Exel TZ 10

I wanted to order a new set of wheels for my car. Well, due to a somewhat confusing mess, I now own both a set of Team Dynamics Pro Race 1 and Exel TZ 10's, both in 17x7. Now I can't decide which set to keep and which to sell.

Aesthetically, they're similar. Does anyone here have any experience as to which would be more durable and strong? Also, the TZ 10s are offset of 42, while the PR1's are 45. If I plan to lower my car with the hsport springs, will the offset 42 (tz10s) likely rub (with 205/45/17 tires currently)?

Is one clearly better than the other? I'm thinking of keeping the TeamDynamics simply because they're British made. Which one do the majority of you think looks better?

Go here for some lovely pics of the wheels in question and several shots of some goregous MINIs.

I've been looking at both sets of these wheels as well. I initially fell in love with the TDR Pro Race 1's, and I've found a reseller near me who would give me a really good price on them. Then I found the Exel TZ-10's. Same look for $150-200 less than the PR1's.

I'm still torn, but from everything I've read, the TDR PR1's are probably the higher quality wheel. Of course, I've heard no complaints from anyone about the quality of the TZ-10's.

So are you going to be selling that other set of wheels, or returning them

Team Dynamics are a great quality wheel. A little bit nicer grade of wheel than the most. I would put them as a great source for wheels that is worth the extra $$

Agreed, torn also, I like them both. Good looking, good value. I am starting to lean to the TD's because I see soo many TZ-10's.

Motoforge

Here's another 10 spoke wheel that you might want to consider:

Motoforge SG 10, 17x7.5, et 45, 18 lbs, matte colors: silver, carbon or copper.

Company website:

I think there are rumors about the company closing but there are still wheels available.

Here are some good pics:

And a variation of the wheel called the SG 14:

Good luck!
