Using MCS Stocks on a Mazda?

Anyone know if you can use the Stock 16's off an MCS on a Mazda 97 Protege DX? I know it's a strange question going the other way around - but the Mazda is 4x100 pattern - anything else I need to have it work?

Thanks

The 17"s 'fit' on a Mazda Miata, but I never tried driving it that way. Odds are it's a whole lot bigger than the combo that's on there now - so you need to check clearance both vertically and horizontally, especially in the front. The 17s were a REALLY tight fit in the (lowered) miata wheel well.

Hub ring is the same size, so you should be ok there. Check the lug nuts to make sure they snug up to the wheel.

Thanks Eric,

Actually I'm going to run the stock 16"s - yeah the 17"s would be a bit tight.

Actually, the effective diameter of the two are within a few percent - that's why I can run either on my MCS without significantly affecting the speedo reading.
205/45-17 (24.3") vs 195/55-16 (24.4")
You'll never know until you try!
