"Wheel mates"

Moss lists a product called "wheel mates" which is a plastic gasket that fits between the hub of the brakes and the hub of the wheel to prevent the wheel from "freezing" on the hub. It seems like a brilliant idea. The manufacturer @ http://flatlinersbs.com/wheelmate_info.htm says that it is made out of phenolic resin and can withstand temperatures up to 700 deg. F.

Has anyone used this product? Any drawbacks? Would insulating the brake hub from the wheel cause less cooling of the brakes?

Moss lists them @ $19.95. The manufacturer for $9.95.

Alec?
