Looks good. But check out the prices--yikes! Do you reckon the prices will come down when they're more readily available? Does this mean that the T1-S will be cleared out at deep, deep discount prices? :smile:

These T1-R's look real good. They are very pricey (one of most expensive tires I have seen), so I hope they will come down in price, but doubt it. Prices on current T1-S I would think will be determined by each individual shop (based on their inventory and demand), so we could indeed see some discounting.

I wonder what they weigh as the statistics don't say; probably more, so that would be a bad thing, but the performance seems to be improved in about every way. I'd heard the T1-S sidewalls were a bit soft, so the T1-R should be better.

 

Edgeracing has the T1R for $129 for the size, 215.45.17. I like my proxe 4 on our Lexus so I might give these guys a try.

 

I ran TIS's on my MCS and felt them to be the best tire for the $$$ out there.
Great handling, terrific in the wet & dry, excellent cornering.. and relatively quiet.

I just put a set of T1R's on my MCoupe... and all I can say is WOW!!!!!

They are a great upgrade to the T1S's and I'm certain they will tenchance performance on a MCS as well.

The Toyo T1-R's are great. I put these on Magic Mini back about a month ago and I can really tell a big diffence. They stick to the road like glue. Great tire!!!
