Anyone Running 19s?

I am looking at putting 19s on my S, but want to be sure I won't have any problems. Anyone have any experience with 19s, and if so, what size tires did you use? I have M7 springs, which could be an added issue, but will be adding sway bars front and back, if that helps.

It might be worthwhile to do a search on MINI2 on this subject. I think I remember a few posts about 19" wheels over there and the general word was that 19's tended to be a bit problematic wrt clearance. Can't remember the details.

There are plenty of members (me included) running 18's with no issues. The usual details (wheel offset, tire size/profile, etc.) will be in play regardless, so you will need to determine the specifics of your wheel/tire combo, and go from there.

Try to find as many 'success' stories with 19's as possible, and then determine the specifics of their wheels and tires as your guideline.

And be prepared for flaming, most folks think 19's are too much on a MINI!
