Runflat is flat
Runflat is flat
Hi, just came back from vacation and my dad told me the front right tire (original runflat) is flat, totally flat, thought it was punctured by nail but found nothing. The runflat indicator was on. Anyone same expenience? Anyway, we just pumped air back and see if it leaks again. :(
When I used run flats I had two different tires get flats both were because of nails. One was repairable and one wasn’t. If your tire is still holding air somewhat next time you check, I’d get it to a tire repair place and have it fixed. Do not drive on it if it does not hold good pressure. The tire will work fine for a distance as advertised, but it will destroy the tire beyond repair.
Previous advice is good; it may also help to over inflate the tire by 10 psi or so then use the soapy water to hunt down the leak. There is no substitute for a good digital tire pressure gauge in the glove box. Best of luck finding it..................mgg (MTR ON)
