Where's your wheel lock?

We bought a 2017 Countryman S with run-flat tires and there's no wheel lock anywhere to be found. Not in the glove compartment, and nowhere in the boot. Dealer doesn't know where it is.

I'm starting to wonder if MINI doesn't supply the key to force you to go the dealer for tire service?

 

My guess is that it's in the previous owner's garage...

 

wheel locks are not much good in reality ... if a professional thief wants your wheels these won't even slow him down .....

there are dozens of youtube videos showing how to remover them without the key - intended to help folks panicking because they lost the key .....

all you need is a cheap socket and a good sized hammer . . .


p.s. Wheel locks are not standard equipment .... often "dealer installed"
