Will 16x7.5 ET25 fit a stock R56?

Hi all
I just came across a really nice set of wheels: 16x7.5 ET25. Tyres are 195/40.
Will these fit a stock base model R56?

Thanks a lot.

I don’t think the wheel offset will be your problem. A 195/40-16 tire is nearly 2 inches smaller in diameter than stock size! You’ll want to go with a 195/55, or a 195/50-16 at the smallest.

Got it, thanks, I didn't have the diameter/speedometer in mind!
So if I went with a tire with higher diameter, say 195/55, I shouldnt have problem with clearance or rubbing?

Are you still on stock suspension? Might look a little odd with wheel poke like that. Other than that, you shouldn't have any rubbing.

Yeah, everything is stock. But I will look for another set. Shame.

As far as the offset, you should be fine as long as you have adjustable rear control arms and front camber plates (or just slot the top mount holes). You’ll need to run slightly more camber (I’m running 2 degrees). I have 18x8 et32 215/40 which is almost identical in offset to a 16x7.5 et25. A 195 tire is pretty stretched on a 7.5. You would be better off with a 205. You will need to lower it from stock suspension for it to look right.
