Wheel Fitment

Would 17x8 wheels with 35mm offset fit without rubbing on an r56 while using 215/45/r17 tires on a stock r56

FYI - I just received the same Avid.1 AV-06 CB 73.1, 4-100 [+35mm] wheel in matt black for my 2009 MCS.

I did a lot or research before getting them, and I just trail fitted one on front and it fits. I'm planning to run 235/40-17 tires on it.

FWIW -
a) you will need to run hub rings to adapt the wheel's CenterBore(CB) of 73.1mm of to Mini.s 56.1mm hub
b) you will require new 'cone' lug-bolts to match wheel

Does it fit on the back as I've heard that's usually the most likely place for rubbing with such small offset

35mm offset on a 17x8 wheel gets you just about flush with the fender. If you plan on running a 215/45 tire you may rub depending on your ride height. If it's stock ride height then probably not.

For reference I ran a 17x7 wheel with a 215/45 tire and when I pushed it out from 37mm offset to 29mm offset with a spacer it rubbed through fast corners and over bumps, and I'm lowered about 2" from stock.

I haven't actually trail fitted wheel on rear. I thought front was more important to test, to confirm clearance with strut and brake caliper. In any case, I'm still at stock ride height, so I'm 99% sure all will be OK in rear.
