STUDS LONG ENOUGH? STud conversion

Hello.

Are my studs long enough? Or should i get longer ones?

Also red loctite? Wheels are +20 offset 17x9 no spacers

1.5 times the diameter of the stud is recommended. If you're working with an M12x1.5 stud, 1.5mm between threads you'd need 12 turns.

12 turns till it bottoms out the rim?

Got the longer studs. But it won’t torque down. It just keeps on turning through the back. So i ended up backing it out and made sure it’s flushed through the back.

should i be concern ?

My guess is the threads are striped? What year is your MINI, make sure the studs are the correct measurement for thread pitch.

not stripped. They keep on threading through the back. Stripped mean they would be loose and stay in one apt correct?

oh... I see what yours are they dont have the stopper(larger size bump in the middle, its the same OD as the inset of the thread cut) and the tube is the same thread, so it keeps on going, ours has the larger bulb in the middle that stops it. Those are designed to just keep on threading.
