Need help deciding. Wide mini | clinched flares | spacers

Need help deciding. Wide mini | clinched flares | spacers

Ok so I’ve been racking my brain here. Planning. Calculating etc.

wanted to install the 10cm Clinched flares and the widest wheels i can find with 4x100 bolt pattern in 17x9 +25et
wrapped on 235/40/17 then ordered 1.5” ( yes it’s wide )
to fill in the gaps. Everything is going well until i realized...

Didn’t turn my damn wheel when i test fitted the wheels 🤷🏻*♂️

So im getting some rubbing issues in the front only. It’s clipping the front bumper and the back wheel well with the 1.5”’spacers.

My question is. Since the rear fits so good with the 1.5” spacer 10cm flares. And i have to leave the front with no spacers. I can run the 7cm flares ( inch less ) staggered look.

How bad will the handling be? Anyone tried running staggered on a mini ( front wheel drive? )

really wanted that wide stance.

Or i can just run 7cm all the way around with no spacers !

Heres the front with no spacers. ( still with 10cm flares ) i can change that to 7cm flares
rear 10cm flares with 1.5” spacers.

Also. Running with no front fender liners? Thoughts on this?
Or just cutting the back part and leave the ones for the engine bay?

WHY..?
Your front tire "scrub" will be terrible.
You need to keep the tire center closer to the spindle or king pin center.
It'll drive around town ok, but the faster you go, the worse the front traction will be, and the tires will wear faster than normal.
Remember high school geometry, you're pushing that over the line..!

Ya I’ve decided to get rid of the spacers and just run the wheels by themselves with the 7cm flares instead of the 10cm. Not as wide as i want them to be. But safer and overall performance.
