I am not as down on run-flats as many are here, BUT these are the worst tires I have ever had on a vehicle (Even after owning 5 BMW's with run flats) The first one literally blew out 1.5 months into buying the car new (NO HANKOOK WARRANTY ON OEM TIRES) and now BOTH front tires have to be replaced at 22,000 miles. I tried contacting Hankook America who are nasty bastards who and did not want to hear about the issues and Mini NA does nothing. In addition BOTH from rims are out of round. Any similar experiences ?

My '15S came with these tires. Dumped them after 12,000 miles and having to repair a rim. I replaced them with some Bridgestones that were really good tires. Hankooks are CRAP.

 

Which Bridgestones did you replace them with ?

 

I replaced them with Bridgestone RE 960 AS runflats. They were great tires. I am not sure that they still make this tire in the 205/45-17 size anymore. Never hurts to try. Michelin and Bridgestone both make some great tires.
