Hi guys. Any suggestions on winter tires for the stock 16 inch rims on my Cooper S? I don't think I can afford to buy a second set of rims right now, so I am thinking about just getting 4 snow tires and having them switched with the stock run-flats for the winter.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Dunlop Winter Sport M3 (runflats) worked great for me last
winter here in New England:

They seem to be a popular choice at ice racing events, which I
plan to try this winter.

Either Nokian WR or Dunlop Wintersport M3
M3 are 195/55-16
Nokian 205/50-16

Nokians can handle the warm months too and not melt.

Blizzaks are great but don't wear well if the roads are clear a lot.

Definately get 4 and don't try to run Summers below freezing temps as they get too hard and have no grip. Take it from a Canuck with first hand experience

I just got 4 205/45VR-17 Pirelli Winter 240 SnowSport RFs ... they get great reviews for snow as well as ride quality on dry roads.
