I will be replacing my stock 16" R84's on my MCS in a while with aftermarket 17's. I was looking at MSR - 103's. Does anyone have any experience with these?

I am also new to the "custom wheels/tires" group and don't know a thing about sizing and offsetting. Can anyone explain what size tire I should go with and if I need offsets. I plan on using non-runflats, but besides that, know nothing.

Please help!

 

i had the same dilemma when i got new rims... (btw, dont get msr, they belong on a riced out civic, not a mini! sides, they are really low quality and heavy as a rock)

sizing, widest you can go is probably 8 inches on 17, mini2 has alot of info on that so you can also check that out

tires, people are running oem size 205/45, i run 215/45, widest i've seen on mini2 i believe is 235/35

rims must have a 4x100 pattern, think centerbore is 56, offset depends upon really how wide a tire you want.. oem size should allow offset between 40mm to 48, anything more offset would require spacers to avoid hitting the inside...

im sure others would probably point out some mistakes i have... but that's the jest of what i do know
