Detroit Tuned Big Brake Kit. Anyone have these?

Looking into a Detroit Tuned big brake kit. I trust this company, have had good experience with them in the past. Brakes look to be very high quality and light weight. At first I thought Outlaw 4 piston calipers sounded "cheap/low quality" until I googled them. They make calipers for NASCAR, SCCA, IMSA, ASA etc. But what's good on the race track may not be good for daily driving.

R56 MCS is my daily driver. I don't autocross or bring it to the track. But I demand high performance and value low unsprung weight. Noticed a huge difference when I bolted on OZ Ultralegerras (14.9 lbs) over heavy OEM wheels (23 lbs).

If anyone has tried these feel free to chime in.
If I go "OEM" stock performance route instead of a BBK, which is better EBC Red or Green?

Thank You

Ian

Ian,

We have sold countless sets of our BBK setups, if you have any questions on our kits please give us a call and we will answer any questions you have on the setup.

If stopping quicker than the guy behind you and the guy behind him, then our kit is for you, not to mention brake jobs are so much easier.

Very nice! Are these BBK kits compatible with OEM wear sensors?

No they are not, we sell dummy plugs that keep the light out, but you will need to monitor brake pad wear personally.
