Is there a different tire rotation schedule...

I should follow if I don't drive my car much? I have an MC with runflats, and I am not driving it as much as I should -I have managed only 2000 miles in 9 months!!
Can I still follow the 4K to 5K mile intervals for rotations or is length of time a factor?

I don't believe there is a time factor to tire rotation since you are seeking to balance wear between front and back. I'd stick with 5k intervals.

Personally I rotate every 3 until 12k - then reduce to every 5k

MINI recommends no rotation?

I was reading the Bentley service manual for the MINI, and it states that MINI does not recommend ANY tire rotation for its cars. Could that be right?

The owners manual also says that. They site traction control aids as the reason to not rotate. I don't think it matters. If you want to buy 4 new tires, rotate, and if you only want to get 2 at a time, don't.
