Snow tires and rims

What snow tires and rims are recommended for the mini for a heavy snow belt region?

Fusor2000,

Aloha and welcome to NAM.
See this post-

Talk to Alex@tirerack.com and check out the 15" Blizzak snow tires (for more snow clearance) and maybe steel rims ($38 each) or cheap alloys (from $99 per rim).

For steel wheels the covers are $25 per set of four.

A few good winter tire tech articles from tirerack.com
