I have an 06/02 built S and there are no sensors. When did they start. 'Til today I thought they all came with them. I was changing to EBC Reds, and there it was ... or wasn't. So to speak. Can somebody enlighten a confused old man? I once had a front anti-sway bar stolen off a car; surely the same villian hasn't returned for my brake pad sensors. Hey I was only going to try them out of the way. Less work. Right?

I'm an older man and I can tell you I have an 03/03 MCS (with a few mods well so many that Randy Webb said I've done it all ) and on mine we just tied them out of the way. Looks like you don't have to go to the trouble.

I did not make my self clear. There was NO pad sensor of any kind on the car. None anywhere. Just the ABS sensor.

I don't think brake pad sensors were fitted until the 2003 model year.

You don't have a manual boot release on your 2002 either

 

The boot release for me would be the 3lb hammer.

Don't worry if you don't have the boot release...it don't work anyways......
