I'm looking for a used set of rims to mount winter tires to, but all I can find on Kijiji in my area are 15". My 2011 Clubman currently has 16" tires on. Can I use 15" for my winter set? Will it affect my speedometer readings and handling much?

Wheel size will not affect your speedo it is the outside diameter of the tire that will do that but with a smaller wheel you will need more sidewall on your tire yo get the same diameter you have now which will have more flex in turns.

 

If your clubman is an S model 15" rims will not clear the front brakes & you will need a 16" rim. If it is a non-S those 15" rims will work & are preferred by me for winter use.

 

Try going to terrace.com and plug in your MINI in upgrade garage then select winter wheels and tires to see your options.

As mentioned the Cooper S has large front brake calipers vs the base Cooper so 16" winter wheels would be the smallest. Tire sizes in either 15" or 16" are OK for the MINI, just match tire diameter of about 24.3" and use a narrow width tire. Speedometer and odometer should be OK.
