I was checking the web sites yesterday and UUC offical release is late this month. The price from them was $1295, I don't know what Randy will sell them for. His web site said he was shipping the first units now. It would be nice to get some feedback/comparison to the other big brake kits.

I saw it.

It uses Corvette pads, it is made for UUC by Stainless Steel Brake Company. It fits under 16" wheels.

Looks lke a good mid-priced option for those wanting more braking performance, but not wanting the costs and compromises of a full BBK.

dgszweda1,

FWIW, i think that Randy is actually now using these brakes on the "Mule" and he really likes them. i think the kit for $1295, comes with new rear discs (stock size), pads and stainless lines too. do a search in Randy's forums to double check my info.

I did a search, but didn't come up with much. Doesn't seem like he is posting much anymore on his site. I have only seen a handful of posts in the last month.

The UUC brake kit is good stuff; mine works well. Randy even got them to smoke while diving into a corner after hitting 3 digits. Won't fit all wheels, though. I watched Randy try to help someone install a set on a car with S-lites- you need serious spacewrs to do it. If you are going for brakes, you should put on different 17" wheels. Apparently, the R-90s work.

The kit for $1295 does not include the rear end stuff. Best bet there is Randy's rear end kit with the Powerslot rotors, steel lines, Ferodo 2500 pads, and good fluid.
