Enlarging 12mm bolt holes to 14mm question

I am thinking about ordering some new wedssport wheels, in particular the sa15r wheel I'm 17x7, +43 offset. However, upon emailing weds I found our the bolt holes are 12mm, which is what I figured due to them being jdm wheels.

I was wondering if there is any damage or loss of strength of the wheel by having the holes enlarged to 14mm from the original 12mm? I'm guessing there probably isn't due to it seeming like a pretty common practice, but I just wanted to make sure.

Thanks in advance
-Brian

You can drill but there are also conversion stud kits that might be quicker and easy.

You'll need a set of lug nuts to fit

Thank you for the responses. So, just to make sure I am understanding correctly. For my r56, I would buy those stud conversions and the lug nuts as well and then I would be able to fit the 12mm size wheels on my r56?

Would that be a better solution than simply having them drilled? I don't plan on tracking really, more of just a daily driver car. but, appearance is a big factor and was wondering which would give a cleaner look, either stud conversions or drilling, but i assume stud conversions would look cleaner.

oh, and here is a picture of the wheels I am thinking of and they only weigh 15.256 pounds per wheel as well

again, thank you so much and I really appreciate the help

Yes our stud conversion kit will allow you to run wheels that were meant for 12mm lugs
