winter tires

I purchased Blizzaak tires from tirerack last year for my 2008 Mini Clubman S. I really have enjoyed them and they have kept my car on the road in all weather. I used them year round.

Why do you use winter tires all year round? They are made of a softer compound which will wear excessively in the warmer months. They're called winter tires for a reason....

Winter tires really aren't designed to give you maximum grip in warm temps (i.e. higher than 45 or 50 degress F). not to mention they will degrade very quickly. Unless you've moved to the artic circle, I'd consider getting summer tires to complement the winters.
