Low-pros may look nice...

but the ride around the mean streets of NYC sucks!

Maybe this is in the wrong section of the forum, but would anyone be interested in trading tires?

I have a set of Cooper ZEON ZPT all season tires in 205-40-17
Three of the tires have about 15k miles on them, one of the tires has about 4k (i got a flat and the tire needed to be replaced)

If anyone has a set of 205-50-17 or maybe even 205-55-17, in comparable condition, and actually WANTS low-pro tires, perhaps we can work something out?

Worth a shot!

You really might want to think about going down to a 16" wheel. Going to a 205 50 17 is going to throw your speedometer off. Not sure if you've lowered your car or not, but it may also cause rubbing. A 205 50 16 would be a better option, and is the stock size tire for cars optioned with 16" wheels, so your speedometer would still read correctly.

hmm yea good point. I guess in that case, the trade will be rims + tires!

if anyone is seriously interested, send me a PM and we can exchange pics and details and all that stuff..

i've been browsing around the tires section here and i keep getting the urge to just buy a new set of aftermarket 16" rims..

i could probably sell my old rims + tires on ebay or something too.. *thinking face*

There are some nice aftermarket options on tirerack.com You can even put them on the mini in a configurator!
