lug pattern and offset for wheels
The lug pattern is 4 x 100 for a MINI---all MINIs The Offset is 50 for a 17 inch S-Lite . Thae a look at the FAQ at MINI2.com for more information on the offsets for all the MINI wheels

38mm offset is the widest you can go before your tires start rubbing. I have BBS RGR's and they say that I can not lower my MINI with setup. I can however trim so that I do not get any rubbing.

If you have the stock suspension the limits of offset are from 37mm to 50mm according to Randy Webb of Webbmotorsports. 35mm is really pushing the limits and might be possible depending on which tire size is selected and how heavy a load you have in your card.
For H-sport springs the offset limit is 42mm. It varies a little for each suspension set up you may have.
