Lubricate wheel hub

Lubricate wheel hub
Hi fellow MINIers:
Howdy. I want to ask those who rotate their own tires besides their rotisserie chicken. Do you put white lithium grease around the outer side of the hub before reinstalling the rims? When I rotated tires last time, the rust gave resistance while pulling out the rims. I'm not certain if the white lithium grease is the right stuff to put there.
Appreciate your help in advance.

+1 do not use grease....when you do lots the braking (or even the heat from the hub) the greae can liquefy, and drip away....possible danger in braking, and it will not be able to do its job.
I use permex anti seize...i bought a small jar with a brush, but you can usually find it in small ketchup sized packs (way overpriced though) by the cash register at most auto stores. The jar is about a lifetimes worty for a home mechanic, but good to have around.
