I'm Arnaud, from Paris in France. I have a MINI JCW Clubman and I'm looking for some new wheels. I have the Brembo calipers.

I'm looking for some 18x8 and 4x100 wheels. I'm planning to put some 215x35 tyres on it.

What would you recommend to me ? I saw some Rota's (SDM for example) or some Advan's, but I don't know which model would clear the Brembo calipers.

Brembos are big calipers but 18" wheels have more clearance in general. If you do get too close then adding a thin spacer is certainly possible perhaps 3mm and you can use the stock wheel bolts or add some longer wheel studs and nuts.

18x8 is possible but you need to contact each vendor to see if they have it in 4x100 bolt pattern, 56.1mm hub bore for the MINI. Comes in different finishes.

I did not see a listing for Rota SDM wheels, only SDR and SDX.

I was thinking of this kind of result with some Rota SDM :




The Advan RS looks great too and it remembers me the look of the Sportec rims when I had an Audi.




I hesitate between 2 possibilities :

- Wider wheels, 18x8 or 18x7.5, 215/35 non runflat tires with some stretching.

- R113 stock wheels, 18x7, 205/40 runflat tires and 15mm wheel spacers all around but I don't know what to think about my bearings...
